Babit Point is an exceptional site at Oyster Pond. Protecting the beauty of this place is a priority. And the residents of the site watch over it. It is for this reason that the Conservatoire du littoral asked them for their opinion on the development of this area. The Nature Reserve explains in its journal the progress of this project: “It was decided to set up a small reception area, decorated with informative panels and plantations of local species (…) a trail marking is planned, in order to avoid trampling. It will be marked out with botanical labels and two orientation tables will allow a better discovery of the surrounding islands. ” As a reminder, the Conservatory recently razed a house in ruins on the site. _EH
