Saint-Martin is still in shock after the terrible accident between two cars, last Wednesday, at 21 p.m., on national road 50 in Grand-Case.
Despite the rapid intervention of the emergency services, three residents of Saint-Martin, aged 19, 20 and 31 respectively, died on the spot. Three other injured were hospitalized. Their vital prognoses are not engaged.
An investigation, entrusted to the Marigot brigade, in order to determine the exact causes of the accident was opened under the authority of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Basse-Terre. Anyone likely to have witnessed the accident can contact the Concordia-Marigot gendarmerie at 05.90.52.21.90.
