As part of the SEM ta route Energie operation, nine young people obtained an electrical certification which was given to them on Monday, March 20 at the end of the morning at Semsamar. They first completed a week-long training course at Fore IDN. The following week, the young people were placed in a professional situation and went to meet the tenants of social housing in Semsamar in order to install low-energy light bulbs. The mixed economy company of Saint-Martin made a commitment last November to distribute 7 low-consumption lamps to the 500 families renting residences in the French part. Semsamar fully funded this operation, but in return the young people signed a volunteer agreement. They must give their free time to an association or nurture a social cohesion project.
