For a few days now, the sailing yacht A has been mooring in the waters of Sint-Maarten.
With its 142, 81 meters long, it is considered to be the largest private sailing yacht in the world. Its owner, the Russian billionaire, Andreï Melnitchenko, would have acquired it for the exorbitant sum of 417 million euros.
With its three carbon masts, this ship is the work of French designer Philippe Stark (in collaboration with Doelker & Voges), who had already designed the A motor superyacht in 2004 for this same Russian billionaire.
After the Falcon Maltese, Eclipse and Limitless, Sint Maarten continues to welcome mega-yachts.
