Eight young people took part in the regatta, although they had "never done a race in their life", specifies Antoine Bonna, and "they managed to finish their course ...". If they didn't score, the 18-19 year olds won in their category, on Laser Pico, placing 1st and 2nd out of a total of eight participants.

A Saint-Martin championship is being set up, in collaboration with Alain Pansiot who takes care of sailing at the Mont des Accords college and who is about to be affiliated to the French Sailing Federation (FFV) . A calendar will be created and registered with the FFV, with a first competition which will take place on January 10, 2020. "It will be more an internal championship between their school and ours", specifies Antoine Bonna, who nevertheless intends to invite the sailing school of the Sint Maarten Yacht Club, as well as that of Saint-Barthélemy. _RM
