On Sunday December 4, the last competition of the year 2022 took place within the Carib Swim Team club. The “Dophin” and “Super Splash” clubs from the Dutch side were also present.
French swimmers Saphir Thomas, Laeticia Martin, Simon Creusot, Mathys Fleming, D'Anka Burgan, Brandon Girier Dufournier, Joey Schvartz, Matias and Nicolas Piazza have all distinguished themselves by again improving their personal bests and winning several medals in their respective categories.
Joey and Matias set 11 new records, thus holding together all the records in the 11/12 year old category. Note also that 15-year-old Matias clocked a superb time of 25.61 in the 50-meter freestyle, setting the new club record in all categories. Joey, only 13 years old, set new records for all categories in the 200 breaststroke and the 400 medley, which he swam in 4, thus achieving the 4.59.95nd French performance of the year among 2-year-olds on this race.
