Scheduled to start at the end of January, temporary work to rehabilitate the quays at the royal marina began Tuesday, April 2. A delay that the community, which is responsible for the common parts, explains by "delays in the delivery of equipment".
As a reminder, this work carried out by the technical services of the COM consists of replacing the damaged parts of the deck and then covering it with marine plywood. Traders expressed their anger on March 12 in an open letter addressed to both the COM and the prefecture in which they denounced not only the deplorable state of the site but also the rise in insecurity, especially near the parking lot says “crackés”.
A meeting between the prefecture and the community took place at the beginning of the week during which a work schedule and planned measures to fight against insecurity were established.
