Delivery of the new bus to Bethany Home

0

The long-awaited day has arrived: Bethany Home residents will receive their new adapted bus tomorrow. The population is invited to share this convivial moment in Galisbay.

The "Rambaud Saint-Louis Fête" association has planned a festive day to mark this event. A mass will be held from 11 a.m. in the Galisbay car park, followed by lunch. At around 14 p.m., Bethany Home director Jean-Marie Marchais will receive the keys to the bus from the president of the association Etienne Andrew, in the presence of elected officials from both sides of the island and the prefect Anne Laubies. It is thanks to numerous donors that the association has succeeded in financing the purchase of this bus adapted for people with reduced mobility at a cost of 52.050 euros (plus 3.970 euros for transport). On Saturday, musical entertainment will be offered until 18 p.m. in the car park. All donors are invited to this day. The association will offer stickers (5 euros / 5 dollars) for sale, the profits of which will be donated to Bethany Home.
