The members of the Lions Clubs met Wednesday evening to make a final point on their actions and the responsibilities of each. Chériane from the Oualichi club, who is from Dominica, explains to her colleagues that this mobilization is crucial: “Many people are destitute. The situation has not improved since the disaster. We absolutely have to come to the aid of the victims. ” The money raised will be sent to the Lions club in Dominica. "These donations will be used mainly to rebuild the villages Dublanc and Coulibistry hard hit by the storm. The families there lost everything, ”she says. On Saturday, the members of the various clubs will hold stands in front of the Marigot, Monoprix, Simply Market and Super U markets. They will also make interventions on the radio: Youth Radio (92.5 FM); SOS Radio (95.9 FM); Radio Transat (105.9 FM) and Radio X104.3 (104.3 FM). The organizers remind that donations exclusively in cash will be accepted.
