Winter sales began last Wednesday in mainland France and in certain overseas departments for a period of six weeks, until February 19.
Ten territories, including four in mainland France, benefit from exemptions; the sales are therefore made on different dates. This is the case in Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy where the winter sales are fixed from Saturday May 4 to Friday June 14. Note that franchises prefer to follow metropolitan dates than local ones.
In Guadeloupe, they take place from Saturday January 5 to Sunday February 15 and in Martinique on the same dates as in mainland France.
