The steering committee of the Public Service Houses - MSAP - was held in the presence of the secretary general of the prefecture, Mickael Doré and the elected Sofia Carti-Codrington, on Wednesday 14 October at the Hôtel de la Collectivité .

Set up after Hurricane Irma in the districts of Sandy-Ground and Orléans, the MSAP play an important social role by creating links with the citizens and by providing an administrative service in the heart of the outlying districts.

The hotlines offer the presence of several public services (Collectivity - Pôle emploi - CGSS - Point of access to law - Trait d'Union France victim - Adie - CAF).

The MSAPs are run by 4 agents from the Collectivity and 10 agents recruited as part of civic service. The main missions consist of supporting citizens in their procedures and offering a daily local service. Their operation is co-financed by the State and the community of Saint-Martin.

A statistical tool made available by the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations makes it possible to measure the frequentation of the MSAPs which welcomed 5267 users in 2019, i.e. 2385 at Sandy-Ground and 2882 in the Orléans district.

The MSAP are open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 13:30 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and from 8:30 a.m. to 13:00 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays.
