The constituency of the Northern Islands organized the final of its 1st challenge of tables at the media library on Wednesday. A great moment for the best pupils of the classes of CP, CE1, CE2 and CM1.
The table challenge was created by the constituency of the Northern Islands in order to promote the learning of multiplication and addition tables. About a hundred finalist students from the nine elementary schools were present for this award ceremony, in the presence in particular of the elected sports delegate Alain Gros-Désormeaux who encouraged and congratulated the finalists on this occasion. “I really appreciated the work done by all the participating teachers since September. The pupils of Saint-Martin have enormous potential in mathematics. The constituency's objective is that when entering 6th year, all the students know their operating tables, we are on the right track! ”Said Jean-Luc Elice, mathematics project manager.
