René-Jean Duret is running for the next legislative elections, with his deputy Marie-Paule Rousseau-Cornette, on behalf of the white vote party, the candidate announced last Wednesday via his Twitter account. "Starting from the observation that the Collectivities of St-Martin & St-Barthélemy experienced a very low rate of votes cast during the previous elections, and while waiting for the blank vote to be recognized by Parliament as a vote cast", the two candidates indicate that they have the objective of "transforming blank votes (and also the potential votes of abstainers) into votes cast, by inciting all those who are disappointed by the proposed political offer, or who do not identify with their representatives, to vote for the candidates of the citizens of the blank vote ”. René-Jean Duret and Marie-Paule Rousseau-Cornette will present their program on Sunday at 19 p.m. at the CCISM.
