British scientists have tested dogs to measure their intelligence. Researchers from the London School of Economics (LSE) and the University of Edinburgh worked with 68 Border Collies, who notably had to fetch visible food, but located behind a barrier. The results, which were just published in the journal Intelligence earlier this week, show that a reliable test could improve the ability of humans to understand the link between canine intelligence, their health and their lifespan, explains l one of the scientists.
