Following the passage of Irma, the building which housed the lolos of Marigot was badly damaged. In 2019, the Collectivity installed containers on the seafront, which were equipped by restaurateurs so that they could continue to exercise.
Since the old building is left in state and must be demolished. The COM has just launched the public procurement procedure. The site provides for the demolition of the buildings but also the complete cleaning of the land and the disposal of waste.
As a reminder, in the Marigot waterfront development project, the installation of 16 lolos is planned. “They will have to be built in a Caribbean style.
