The President of the Collectivity receives the management of Guadeloupe Formation

The president Aline HANSON received, last Friday, the managers of Guadeloupe Formation, surrounded by her collaborators from the Human Development Pole, Mr. Thierry GOMBS, Deputy Director General of the Pole, Ms. Mylène MANUEL-RATCHEL, Director of Employment, 'Apprenticeship and Professional Training, and Mr Thierry STEPHEN, Head of Programming and Outlook Service. 

Created by the Guadeloupe Region on February 26, 2010, Guadeloupe Formation is a public administrative establishment which operates on behalf of the Region in terms of professional training service for job seekers and employees.

The President Aline HANSON was able to meet with Mr. Patrick DUMIRIER, General Manager and Mrs. Marie-Line PARAN, Director of the Training Department, on the missions of Guadeloupe Training which are as follows:

• Implementation of the training program according to the needs of the territory

• Organize and manage the various training networks, in particular on VAE (validation of acquired experience).

• Implement missions on the apprenticeship and vocational training policy for young people and adults looking for work

• Manage training centers and accommodation facilities

• Carry out research, studies, evaluation, prospective and engineering activities for operators in vocational training

Guadeloupe Formation pays regional aid to vocational training trainees. This organization constitutes a resource center for all the actors and participates in the management of the public service of guidance for the Guadeloupe Region.

A presentation of the structure was made to the Collectivity of Saint-Martin which provides training for job seekers in its own territory. The President and her technicians were thus able to discuss the functioning of this public body, in order to envisage a possible collaboration in the field of training for young people and adults.
