The local Mission will soon be installed in Saint-Martin

Saint-Martin will soon be endowed with a local mission. Last Thursday, in a plenary session of the territorial council, Jocelyn Eloin, the deputy director general (DGA) in charge of the delegation for the human development of the community, indicated that the board of directors of the mission will be installed during a general assembly which will take place in mid November; the president of the association (who will manage the mission) will also be appointed on the same date.

In addition, during the GA will be validated the first positions to be able to administratively structure the local mission and thus allow the launch of calls for applications. Six people will be recruited: a director, three integration advisers, a reception agent and a project manager. Jocelyn Eloin anticipates hearing candidates in mid-December and hiring during the first quarter of 2022.

The local mission will be housed in the building behind the AIO services (reception, integration, guidance) at the former Evelyna Halley school. Renovation works are in progress. (soualigapost.com)
