Since the passage of Hurricane Irma, many Saint-Martin families are still in very precarious situations. In order to help these families meet emergency needs, the Social Action Commission of the Family Allowance Fund has decided to grant them assistance.
This measure is intended for recipients of Saint-Martin beneficiaries of a Family Benefit, Active Solidarity Income (RSA) or the Disabled Adults Allowance (AAH) and whose family quotient does not exceed 500 euros.
This aid, amounting to 250 euros, with a bonus of 50 euros per child, will allow families to meet basic needs, obtain food and acquire basic household and furniture equipment.
Today, 5 beneficiaries have just benefited from this aid for a total amount of 034 euros.
In a second step, the Caf will also set up a support system for claimants affected by the granting of loans or subsidies, in collaboration with the various social workers, in the following areas: household equipment and furniture, housing rehabilitation , access to very social rental accommodation. _AF
