Kirk, originally from St Kitts, lives in Saint-Martin for 28 years, he plays steel-drum since his 15 years.
Kirk discovered this instrument whose melody so personifies the islands when he was a young teenager. “The first time I heard music from a steel drum, I was fascinated by the sound, I absolutely wanted to to learn this instrument ”, he specifies, before adding“ it was a real revelation; thanks to my steel-drum, I was able to travel all over the world, I even played in Belarus, I wouldn't change jobs for the world! "
