During confinement, the action of the gendarmerie and the criminal justice system continues to deal with acts of delinquency which seriously disturb public order.
In immediate appearance were judged Wednesday April 8 by the local court of Saint-Martin:
- a 35 year old Saint-Martinoisalready sentenced 3 times for violence which gave his neighbor a screwdriver, on Gd Case: absent from the hearing after being placed under judicial supervision, he was sentenced to 12 months' imprisonment with an arrest warrant .
- a 28 year old- already convicted several times - born in Sint Maarten and living in QO was sentenced at the end of his custody to 12 months of imprisonment and a committal warrant for violence with a hammer against his brothers and his father, and another 12-month prison sentence was brought back to execution following his conviction on February 27, 2020 for a robbery with violence last December.
They were transported that day to the Basse-Terre remand center for one and to the Baie Mahault prison for the other.
