A young woman aged 18 and a half, MB, was presented Wednesday morning before the local court of Saint-Martin for immediate appearance. She is accused of acts of violence with a weapon on another young woman, JW, having caused a temporary interruption of work for more than eight days. As the law allows him to do, MB requested time to prepare his defense. His trial was therefore postponed until June 2. In the meantime, she was placed under judicial supervision.
The facts happened last Sunday in Quartier d'Orléans. According to the elements of the investigation, the son of the victim would have spat on MB the day before. In response, MB allegedly slapped the boy, angering JW. She would then have asked MB not to return to the neighborhood.
The next day, MB goes back there to see his friend, a knife in his pocket. An altercation breaks out between the two young women and MB stabs JB with his knives. Wounded, the victim is transported to hospital but his vital prognosis is not engaged. 21 days of ITT are prescribed for him.
After the facts, MB was arrested, placed in police custody and then in pre-trial detention until his appearance on Wednesday morning.
