INTERNET: Barely 7,5% of premises connected to optical fiber in Saint-Martin on 30/06/2019

As of June 30, 1 premises out of an estimated 339 were connectable to the FttH in the French part according to Arcep, the organization that manages telecommunications in France.

In other words, there were 1 dwellings and premises for professional use served by a "fiber optic line to the subscriber". This represents a coverage of the number of housing and professional premises of barely 339%.

In Saint-Martin, the sectors where fiber is available are Oyster Pond and Terres Basses in almost all of them, as well as in part of Quartier d'Orléans, Mont Vernon 2 and Anse Marcel. It is currently being deployed to Quartier d'Orléans, in a part of Orient Bay, Hope Estate and Mont Vernon 2. At the end of June 2019, its deployment was also scheduled in the remaining parts of Mont Vernon 2, Anse Marcel , Terres Basses and Hope Estate, throughout the Cul de Sac sector, in the Espérance sector in Grand Case (near the airport).
