Back to school time has come at SM'ART FAXINFO - ART GALLERY in Bellevue! From this Friday, September 24 and until October 25, the painter Mino Ravaozanany will be in the spotlight. The occasion  for the public to discover a wide selection of watercolor paintings painted by an artist who loves to travel!

After completing his schooling in Paris, Mino Ravaozanany, of Malagasy origin, moved to Reunion Island for ten years. "I first worked in school bookstores and children's literature before living an exceptional adventure by boat from 2020", underlines Mino. I had the chance to discover many countries, South Africa, Brazil, Mexico, Portugal, etc. On a personal level, I will never forget the trips and the meetings with all these people from other countries who have enriched me enormously. I then decided to put my bags in Saint-Martin. For 3 years, I started to paint with watercolors. In fact, it was during my long boat trips that I discovered this art which has become  a real passion. With just a brush, a  paper and a little water, I had fun drawing the movements of the waves in all its forms with pretty gradients.

Over time, I perfected myself by first reproducing Creole boxes in watercolor and Indian ink in small then large format. I work with the wet-on-wet method. I love the watercolor in sepia tones which give an old side to the Creole boxes. To diversify myself, I tried other techniques, namely transfer with newsprint, relief in tissue paper and a lot of colors. It is no coincidence that I like to paint life at sea and portraits.

It is surely due to my many trips that I had the chance to make while meeting wonderful people ”.

The inauguration of the Mino Ravaozanany exhibition is planned this Friday September 24 from 17 p.m. to 21 p.m. at SM'ART FAXINFO - ART GALLERY located in Bellevue

The works of the artist Mino will be exhibited until October 25. Free entry from 8:30 a.m. to 16:30 p.m., through the entrance to the Faxinfo offices.
