Last Saturday, in the presence of the Prefect of the Northern Islands, Sylvie Feucher and the president of the Collectivity of Saint-Barthélemy, Bruno Magras took place the inauguration of the "La Capricieuse" room at the harbor master's office.
The commander of the “Confiance”, patroller sponsored with Saint-Barthélemy since July 21, 2017 was also present among the many guests.
Note that the “La Confiance” building is a new Antilles-Guyana patrol boat put into service alongside La “Combattante” and “La Résolue”.
These three ships meet the specific needs of the French Navy in French Guiana in order to have a manoeuvrable vessel capable of launching boats quickly and in shallow water, in order to conduct maritime surveillance missions, to fight against illicit trafficking and against maritime pollution. _AF
