It is with immense pride that the Gym Saint-Martin club participated on June 14, 15 and 16 in the national final of female artistic gymnastics organized in Cyr-sur-Loire.
During the three days of competition, the Sébastien Barc gymnasium welcomed more than 1 gymnasts, including 000 teams representing all the regions of France without forgetting of course the French overseas departments and territories!
Our young gymnasts from Saint-Martin, Célia Daniels William, Keona Inguenaud, Waimaria Steele Lauga, Maloe Mounsamy have proven that they have the necessary mentality and the qualities required to measure themselves against the national dish.
At the end of these French championships, the proteges of Gratienne certainly finished in 30th place but with the feeling of having given the best of themselves!
"I am fully satisfied with the performance of the girls", underlines Gratienne, before adding, "They were not unworthy, far from it! Then you have to compare what is comparable. Clearly, young gymnasts evolving in Metropolitan France have the opportunity to train more than us, which is more with sports equipment dedicated to performance. However, while waiting for better days in terms of our sports facilities, I am proud of the services provided by “my” four champions ”!
The Gym Saint-Martin club also takes the opportunity to thank all the people who contributed, directly or indirectly, to the great adventure lived by Célia Daniels William, Keona Inguenaud, Waimaria Steele Lauga, Maloe Mounsamy and the management team. during these championships of France.
