Next Saturday, May 6, the 5th Golf Dauphin Telecom Trophy will be held at the Mullet Bay golf course.
This event supported by the dynamic association "Les Tamarins" will bring together more than 60 golfers from the island, including several members of the friendly association "Sint Maarten Golf Association (SMGA).
The chosen formula is the "scramble" at 2. Each player plays his ball at the place where the best ball of the previous shot is. Formula that allows -in general- to erase the bad shots and to score lower for the team.
After the coffee-croissant served from 7 a.m. and the traditional "briefing", a simultaneous start will be launched at 8 a.m. (shot-gun), with 2 teams or 4 players per hole on a course which has 18.
A distance contest at hole 4 and an approach contest at hole 5 will add challenge to this day of golf.
The award ceremony for this exciting competition will take place at the Rendez-Vous lounge in Porto-Cupecoy, where a cocktail will be served to participants.
A draw for score cards with gifts will end this day of conviviality and friendship around the little white ball!
