The Galion protection and development project - led by the Coastal Conservatory and the Collectivity - has reached a new stage: the demolition site for the hotel ruins is finally launched on, announced the prefecture. The work will begin with a 3-month asbestos removal, followed by the demolition of the building from September. "The objective of the Coastal Conservatory is to restore the degraded parts of this magnificent site and to maintain its naturalness, while providing facilities for welcoming the public", the Nature Reserve indicated in its journal. A light catering service and public toilets are notably planned on the site which will keep “its popular and family vocation”, state the state services. _EH
