The “Be a boss” event has become, in four years of existence, the national benchmark for female entrepreneurship.
This year, the Be a boss Forum leaves with the slogan: "Create your box: they dared why not you?" " All women entrepreneurs or project leaders are invited to participate in this great National Forum and / or to compete in the Be a boss Awards.
The event has three main objectives:
1. BOOST entrepreneurial ambition among women (project leaders, students, young entrepreneurs);
2. IDENTIFY future regional and national nuggets;
3. REWARD & SUPPORT innovative and promising startups.
The event takes place in two highlights:
• The Be a boss Awards: this national competition targets all startups founded or co-founded by a woman who carry out an innovative project;
• The Be a Boss Tour: a traveling information day that allows women to feed their thinking, develop their network, exchange ideas with role models and, find support or funding. This year the event is held in Bordeaux, Lyon, Toulouse, Rennes, Baie-Mahault and Marseille.
For this 5th edition, the Be a Boss Forum innovates by offering for the first time, a AntillesGuyane / St-Martin and St-Barthélemy stage. This inter-regional stage will highlight the commitment of women in our regions and the excellence of their entrepreneurial vision and their management.
The Be a boss Awards Antilles-Guyane competition runs until May 30, 2019 and targets all West Indian startups, founded or co-founded by a woman who are carrying out an innovative project.
The Be a Boss Tour Antilles-Guyane will be held on June 13, 2019 at the Habitation de WONCHE in Baie-Mahault. 7 West Indian startups, founded or co-founded by a woman, will pitch on stage, before the public and the jury. Two of them will be selected to participate in the final of the “Be a Boss Awards” which will take place on September 19 in Paris. The winners will benefit from advertising space with a gross value of 30 K € to be consumed in the media of the Reworld Media group (founding media partner), and premium access to one of the Bpifrance Financement systems.
