You are between 17 and 26 years old, you want to gain a first experience in the gendarmerie, become a volunteer assistant gendarme!

Serving under successive contracts of up to 6 years, the volunteer assistant gendarme actively participates, alongside the gendarmes, in operational missions (prevention of delinquency, legal investigations, intervention on accidents, etc.).

Advantage:

- No diploma condition is required! With or without a diploma, you can apply;

- possibility of taking the non-commissioned officer examination internally;

- free single accommodation;

- remuneration: around € 1400 net.

Conditions to be fulfilled:

- Be 26 years old or less;

- Have performed the JDC (citizen defense day);

- Be of French nationality.

Recruitment methods:

- Registration on the site https://lagendarmerierecrute.fr / registration tab / volunteer assistant policeman;

- The Saint-Martinois and Saint-Martinoises registered before January 5, 2021 will take the selection tests (psychotechnical test, test of comprehension of texts, general culture and writing of a cover letter) on January 6, 2021 at La Savane barracks;

- If the tests are successful, medically fit candidates will be trained in Guadeloupe or Metropolitan France according to their choice.
