It is well known, travel forms youth! Last Saturday, the young sprouts of the United Stars FC club went to the sister island of Saint Barth to compete in a friendly tournament.
The youngest categories (U7, U9 and U11) awaited this meeting with a certain legitimate impatience.
After a rather calm and sunny crossing, the young budding footballers quickly put on the crampons when they arrived at the stadium to do battle with their opponents for a day.
Throughout the day, the U7 and U9 set out to produce a quality game, to the great satisfaction of the educators and parents present on the edge.
Among the U9s, Lohan Nernnold Vieira Gomes was voted best goalkeeper by his peers by making the most saves in penalty shootouts.
United Stars them stronger among U11s!
On the U11 side, six teams, including three from Saint-Barth, two from the United Stars FC club and Juventus from Saint-Martin, played a friendly tournament which kept all its promises!
Applied and respecting the instructions of the coach, the players of Grand-Case delivered good performances in front of adversaries accustomed to this kind of exercise. On arrival, the two United Stars FC teams finish in 1st and 3rd place respectively of the tournament. Who says better ?
