The Saint-Martin Football League launched for the first time the operation “Girls Ô Foot” during the football week which took place from May 13th to 20th.
This first was a great success for the Football League and the figures as well as the feedback received from the participants are more than encouraging for the future of women's football in Saint Martin.
In fact, more than 140 girls between the ages of 7 and 53 were listed during the week!
When the question of forming mixed teams was asked, the girls clarified that they wanted to focus on training first before thinking about the competition.
The League aims to launch a mini-championship for women next season. The Animator of Football Animation, Karine ONOFARO is confident in the future of women's football in Saint Martin, with interested and motivated girls and women. _AF
