Always passionate about football, Albert Fleming alias “Monsieur le Maire”, in collaboration with the Association Dominators of Sandy-Ground, organized, at the Albéric Richards stadium, the 1st edition of the U 15 tournament during the Easter weekend.
Despite the gloomy weather, many clubs responded to the first tournament organized by the club FC Dominators.
Among the teams present, we could note the Junior Stars, “A” and “B” teams, Juventus de Saint-Martin, Saint-Louis Stars, FC Dominators, Risk Tackers and FC Flamingo.
After the various matches played over two days, the first two of each group were directly qualified for the semi-finals.
This is how the two Junior Stars teams, “A” and “B” competed for a place in the final. After a parity score at the end of regular time (1-1), the first team finally won during the fateful penalty shootout (5-4).
In the other semi-final, the final decision was also made on penalties between Saint-Louis Stars and FC Dominators, with Mr. Connor's players winning four shots on goal at three.
In the small final, it was still necessary to use shots on goal to decide between the two teams, FC Dominators winning 5-4.
The grand final pitting Junior Stars “A” at Saint-Louis Stars turned to the advantage of the “White and Red”, winners by a score of three to two.
