Four representatives of the “SXM Surf Explorer” club competed last week in the Guadeloupe championship finals. Maé Demanez distinguished herself by obtaining the title of vice-champion of Guadeloupe!
This high-level competition brought together the best hopefuls from Guadeloupe, Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy.
The young Saint-Martin surfers performed well. Indeed, three finalists out of four registered in the hope category, obtained two podiums!
In the minimal final, Enzo Masi finished in 4th place. A beautiful "perf" which demonstrates the full potential of this young surfer!
Among the cadets, Norman Peuron climbed on the 3rd step of the podium.
A result which should allow him to qualify for the French championships next October in Biarritz.
In the Ondine Cadette category, Maé Demanez was therefore crowned vice-champion of Guadeloupe. "Maé was able to raise her level, congratulations for her progress and determination," said her coach.
Thanks to her brilliant result, the member of the “SXM Surf Explorer” club should logically participate in the French championships.
