Last Sunday, at around 23 p.m., police and emergency services drove to Juliana airport where a serious traffic accident occurred.
On site, paramedics found the driver of a scooter, involved in the accident, who complained of back and shoulder pain.
According to the first elements of the investigation, a vehicle was driving in the direction of Juliana airport, while the scooter driver was arriving in the opposite direction. The latter wanted to turn to his left to go to a service station, and hit the car head-on.
The driver of the two-wheeler suffered a broken shoulder and hip, as well as multiple injuries to his body. He was taken care of at the scene of the accident by the emergency services who then transported him to the Sint Maarten Medical Center.
Fortunately, his vital prognosis is not engaged. _AF
