Last Monday, around 11 a.m., the police from the KPSM (Korps Politie Sint Maarten) went to Middle Region where a man was seriously wounded by gunshot by an individual who fled.
The 32-year-old victim was injured after having an altercation with a stranger near Romeo's Drive.
According to the police, the victim is in critical but stable condition at the Sint Maarten Medical Center.
Investigators are now trying to gather information to find out what really happened before the shooting.
The police are calling for witnesses, and asking those who have information to contact them at +1 721-542 22 22, ext. 204 or 205.
