On Thursday April 26, around midnight, in Saint-Martin, while the victim is telephoning, two young men threaten her with a handgun in order to steal her purse.
Faced with the young woman's refusal to give them her stuff, one of the two individuals struck her with the butt on the head so that her partner could steal her bag.
Four days later, at around 4 am, an individual was assaulted while in his vehicle by three people, including two carrying handguns.
The victim has an injury to the head and ankle.
The Research Section of Saint-Martin was contacted to conduct the investigations into these two cases.
Despite these two worrying recent facts, Lieutenant-Colonel Sébastien Manzoni specifies that the figures for general delinquency are part of a very favorable trend, in particular with regard to violence against persons and robberies with armed hands.
