News item: A second lifeless body still discovered at Oyster Pond!

The day before yesterday afternoon, around 17 p.m., a witness reported to the SDIS of Saint Martin, the presence of an inert body at the level of the Lucas Bay beach at Oyster Pond.

Immediately informed, the gendarmes went to the scene and confirmed the presence of a lifeless body of a male person of Caribbean origin, whose identity was unknown. At the moment, the causes of death are unknown. A judicial investigation under the direction of the public prosecutor, in connection with the discovery of a first body the day before, is opened and is entrusted to the Research Section to determine the reasons for the death.

The gendarmerie hired soldiers from the Saint-Gaudens mobile gendarmerie squadron, the Marigot brigade, the nautical brigade, the Research Section and the Criminal Identification Technicians.
