At around 18:50 p.m. last Tuesday, Dutch police visited the Dutch Quarter where an individual was riddled with bullets in his car.
Alerted, police quickly arrived at the scene and found a man sitting in his car with several gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to the Sint Maarten Medical Center in critical condition. She will die of her injuries later in the evening.
The circumstances and the motive for this murder have yet to be clarified. No arrests took place in the evening while the police investigation quickly began in the neighborhood. The technical observations continued on the spot. _AF
