The launch party of the new association Femmes Cheffes d'Entreprises (FCE) of Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy was sold out at the CCISM on Tuesday, October 25.

Created in 1945 by Yvonne-Edmond Foinant who was the first woman elected to the Paris Chamber of Commerce and to the steering committee of the National Council of French Employers, the first woman to enter the Economic and Social Council and to receive the Legion of Honor in In the metallurgy sector, the FCE association, which has become the leading women's entrepreneurship network in France and in the world, is mobilizing for the rightful place of women in economic governance. The vocation of the FCE is to encourage women to take responsibility in management mandates, to inform and train its members, to promote solidarity, friendship, benevolence and exchanges through privileged links. In France, the percentage of female officers is 45% of the active population and 30% of creators and business leaders. However, only 10 to 15% of them are members of socio-economic bodies. Only 14% of women are elected in the CCIs and 6 are presidents out of 125 chambers. The observation is clear and shared by all the women present at the launch party inaugurated by Mélanie Dal Gobbo, president of the delegation of Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy, who recalled the importance of not confusing feminism and misandry. Showing sisterhood is consistent with the belief that men and women can have equal opportunities and rights. Many speakers such as Valérie Damaseau, Angèle Dormoy, Marielle Montrésor Timpesta, Sabrina Villetet Douglas, Bahia Yacine, Tania Portas, Alexandra Viotta, Peggy Oulrich, Florence Gurrieri, Sabrina Rivere, Jen Couturier Vignau, Angela Marcénat, Elodie Gaillard succeeded each other at the microphone to share their experience in front of the attentive assembly and several women connected by videoconference, members of FCE France whose powerful slogan is "Alone we are invisible, together we are invincible". _VX
