The Minister of Labor, Muriel Pénicaud, announced on Saturday morning to elected officials and training organizations that she will be before Parliament at the end of January to present a request for an extension of the partial activity scheme, which is currently limited to 1000 hours.
Depending on the period in which business leaders have used this measure, their employees are in partial activity until April, May or June. Muriel Pénicaud therefore wants to give them the opportunity to benefit from this measure until the end of November 2018.
The modification of the period of partial activity is a long administrative procedure which requires the agreement of the Parliament then the publication of a decree.
