These were the feelings which animated ten young Saint-Martinois on Friday afternoon during the ceremony of handing over their certificate of end of civic service mission which was held in the hotel of the COM in the presence of the vice-president. president Sofia Carti and the secretary general of the prefecture Mickaël Doré.

The young people worked in public service houses (MSAP) in Quartier d'Orléans and Sandy Ground. Hired by the COM (which benefits from financial support from the State), they supported citizens in their administrative procedures via digital tools.

In turn, the young people were invited to share their feelings about their mission. And all said that she "gave them a lot". For some, this work allowed them to assess their skills acquired during their studies (BTS, etc.) and to confront the public. “It was real challenges every day! »A young woman admitted. “It wasn't easy… Sometimes people had difficult behaviors that we had to deal with. It taught us to know how to be patient and to know how to ignore, ”added one of her comrades.
