Territorial Elections: A participation rate up 2,9 points compared to 2017

Polling stations closed at 18 p.m. yesterday. The turnout in the first round of elections was 45,7% compared to 42,8% in 2017.

In terms of voters, they are on the other hand less numerous than five years ago: 8 against 611, ie 8 fewer voters. It should be noted that 668 people are registered on the lists this year compared to 57 in 18.

10 people registered on the electoral lists did not go to vote on Sunday, an abstention rate of 245%. In 54,3, they had been 2017 not to have voted, (+ 11).

The highest participation is recorded in offices 8-13-16 and 18* (between 48,1 and 49,5%).

Overall participation is over 44% except in offices 1 (Marigot) and 17 (one of the offices in Cul de sac/Mont Vernon) where it is 36,6 and 39,1% respectively.

The figures must be verified and confirmed by the prefecture. The final results will be announced today.
