In Spring Quartier d'Orléans, Oyster Pond and part of Quartier d'Orléans (east RN7 to Belle Plaine), the participation rate was 44% (ie 851 voters out of 1 registered). The votes cast in these sectors represent 916% of the total votes in 9 compared to 2017% in 10.

At Cul de Sac, Anse Marcel and Mont Vernon, the participation rate was 43% (i.e. 878 voters out of 2 registered). The votes cast in these sectors represent 060% of the total votes in 10 and 2017.

In Marigot (Bellevue in Morne Valois excluding Concordia), the participation rate was 42% (i.e. 1 voters out of 985 registered). In 4, it was also one of the lowest. Nevertheless, in terms of voters, this sector concentrates the greatest number of votes, i.e. 702% of the total votes in 2012 against 10% in 2017

– Finally, the sector where people vote the least is Grand Case (Petite Plage, Espérance): 41% of the 546 people registered on the lists voted. In 2012, participation was also the lowest (49%). The votes cast in this sector represent 6% of the total votes in 2017 compared to 7% in 2012

• Neighborhoods where participation fell the most

Between 2012 and 2017, the participation rate in the second round of territorial elections fell by 10 points to 45%. It was in Spring Quartier d'Orléans, Oyster Pond and part of Quartier d'Orléans (east RN7 to Belle Plaine) that participation fell the most. 

At Concordia, Sandy Ground/Baie Nettlé/Terres Basses, Cul de Sac/Anse Marcel/Mont Vernon, the participation rate fell by 11 points.

In Marigot and Friar's bay, the participation rate fell by 9 points and in the sectors of Orient Bay in Quartier d'Orléans (Belle Plaine by 8 points).  (soualigapost.com)
