The Collectivity of Saint-Martin has started to draw up the future Saint-Martin Land Use and Development Plan - PADSM - in 2020. To build this planning document, the COM enlisted the services of the Cittanova expert cabinet. Following on from the first work initiated in January 2020, a series of 4 participatory workshops for all audiences is planned from October 5 to 8, 2021.
The first step carried out in January 2020 consisted of making a diagnosis of the territory and its urban planning issues. Directly resulting from the diagnosis, the PADSM makes it possible to build, in a dynamic of consultation and sharing of ideas, a territorial project defining the actions to be taken to improve the existing and the main development orientations to come.
The PADSM must also draw up precise development plans for each residential sector and define the general rules of urbanization of Saint-Martin.
The first workshops, organized in 2020, made it possible to exchange views with elected officials and associated public figures. The result of this work will be delivered to institutional partners on Monday, October 4, 2021. From October 5 to 8, 4 workshops open to the public will present the issues and discuss with the population.
This work, shared with the actors of the territory and the population, aims, in the long term, to lead to a 10-year development plan, understood by the population and adapted to the needs of the territory.
From October 5 to 8, 2021, the Collectivity is organizing workshops open to the public according to the following schedule (registration required):
• Tuesday 05 October 2021 from 14:30 p.m. to 17:30 p.m. at Lycée Daniella Jeffry - Concordia (refectory room) - access via rue Louis-Constant Fleming
• Wednesday 06 October 2021 from 14:30 p.m. to 17:30 p.m. at Lycée Daniella Jeffry - Concordia (refectory room) - access via rue Louis-Constant Fleming
• Thursday 07 October 2021 from 14:30 p.m. to 17:30 p.m. at the Cité Scolaire de la Savane (refectory room)
• Friday 08 October 2021 from 14:30 p.m. to 17:30 p.m. at the Cité Scolaire de la Savane (refectory room)
These 4 workshops are open to the dynamic forces of the territory (representatives of neighborhood councils, neighborhood associations, federations and the public). A presentation of the challenges of PADSM and the documents to constitute this management plan will be presented to the public. On the basis of concerted work, participants will be able to provide their vision of the development of Saint-Martin and make proposals, remarks and questions.
