Education: Open letter from the Parents, Students and Teachers Collective to the Rector of the Academy

Dear Mr. Fourar,

“We remained very skeptical (and the word is weak!) Following your visit to Saint Martin last Wednesday and, especially following your communication with the local media and on your Facebook page.

In fact, you seem, as from the beginning of your taking up office, to be satisfied with your work and therefore with the situation in which the students work.

You seem disengaged from the difficulties we encounter, linked to school infrastructure but also to teaching materials.

" Everything is fine…: ! ? "… The master word.

We understand that you will not be an ally in our fight!

Nevertheless Mr Fourar, we would be grateful if you could find answers to our questions below:

• Don't you think that Saint Martin meets all the criteria for allocating a REP + area

• Why in Saint Martin, do not all the children of CP and CE1 benefit from the duplication of class?

• Since the ES terminal classes are complete (35 students), high school students are now assigned to STMG-type courses that do not correspond to their choice. Is this normal?

• Why can't all of the terminal students benefit from the options initially chosen?

• Why should the rectorate not be affected by the lack or even the absence of teaching materials? Is this not useful for the educational mission of the teaching staff?

• Why are we still awaiting the assignment of professors to unfilled positions?

• Why are high school students still on September 20 on a waiting list to be integrated into the school.

• A committee is scheduled at the end of the month to decide whether or not to open class. How and where to welcome them?

No Mr Fourar, the situation is not optimal !!!! "

cordially

The Parents, Students and Teachers Collective
