The community of Saint-Martin honored the winners at the examinations, during a beautiful ceremony organized last Saturday in the garden of the Collectivity. 163 laureates were rewarded for their efforts, in the presence of their families.
In his speech, President Daniel Gibbs recalled the mechanisms in place to support the young people of Saint-Martin who are doing secondary studies. Concrete aid for students, such as exceptional mobility aids and the higher education scholarship, as well as the new incentive scholarship for professions with high potential in the region.
In total, the community supported 345 students in 2019 for a total amount of € 720.
The community and its elected officials congratulate these young people for their performance and wish them good luck for the rest of their journey.
