On Monday July 11, the Center Symphorien d'Insertion (CSI) launched its Moho Education Camp in Quartier d'Orléans, presenting its wide range of activities for young people for the months of July and August.
Led by a masterful hand by Marie-Paule Rouseau-Cornet, president of the Center Symphorien d'Insertion, the Moho Education Camp allows young people from Quartier d'Orléans to compose an activity pass of up to twelve per month. on a list of more than thirty animations of all styles. From July 11 to August 20, the young people of Quartier d'Orléans, at the rate of 50€ per month, will therefore be able to try out, in July, certain artistic, educational or sporting disciplines such as musical comedy, music workshops , singing, art, crafts and pottery, the book club, the theater and writing workshops, the workshop of the young journalist to ensure our succession, the discovery of trades but also trades in mouth watering, gardening, workshop around the sea, football, table tennis, volleyball, introduction to boxing and there will even be prevention on two wheels. In August, young people will choose between hiking, cinema, sea trips and catamaran visits, kayaking, picnics on the beach, treasure hunts, treasure hunts, activity to discover the vestiges of the history of the Caribbean or even the Moho. Each young person will tick on the registration form the activities that inspire them. The choice is wide and the action magnificent. Supported by many partners such as the Club Nautique de Saint Martin, CSF, Les Explorateurs, Assamb, 2morrow, Baker Foundation, Attackers, Grassroots Association, Sommet des îles du nord, Répit Solidarité Insertion, Sea and Grapes, Love and Bougie, Soualiga Education, St Martin Boxing Club, SXM Sport Evasion, TeamJCO, TitiMoto, United Hands of SXM, Village des Pêcheurs de Soualiga, Vivre en Bois and in the presence of Valérie Damaseau, President of the Tourist Office at the launch, the Moho Education Camp will leave an unforgettable memory of the summer of 2022 for young people in Quartier d'Orléans. And as education remains at the heart of the prerogatives of the CSI, young people in bac pro will have the opportunity to follow a refresher workshop.
A carpentry workshop will be offered by "Vivre en bois" for those who would like to learn how to build carbets. The sports activities will take place respectively in the partner clubs, the rest of the activities will take place in Quartier d'Orléans or at Soualiga Education. A shuttle is organized to take young people from Quartier d'Orléans to Marigot. The daily hours are from 9 a.m. to noon and from 14 p.m. to 16 p.m., the Caisse Territoriale des Œuvres Scolaires (CTOS) provides lunch. Everything is included in the 50€ per month. _VX
