According to data from the government of Sint Maarten, 171 people landed at Juliana Airport for vacation on the island between January and June this year. This is almost 543 more people compared to 100 at the same time, which represents an increase of 000%.
It is especially the North Americans and precisely the nationals of the United States who were the most numerous to return to the island: they are indeed 3,6 times more numerous than last year (+ 262%), that is to say 107 of which 968% are Americans. The latter represent more than half of tourists staying in the first half of the year.
