ECONOMY: More than 100 million euros in tax revenue in 2019

In 2019, the local authority collected 100,4 million euros in tax revenue, 20,5 million more than in 2018 (+ 26%).

40% of revenues come from the TGCA and corporate taxes which brought in 23,24 million and 17,37 million euros respectively. TGCA's revenues increased by 2,6 million, or 13%.

The license fee and patents amount to 4,57 million euros.

The transfer tax income, which more than doubled, stood at 11,9 million euros.

The petroleum product tax also brought in around 11,41 million euros.

Revenues from the tax on registration cards are 893 euros, they show a decrease of 900%. Conversely, tourist tax revenue increased significantly to reach 16 million euros (+ 1,3%).

Combining the taxes on roll (income, property tax, IEA), they represent a quarter of the total tax revenue of the COM and their product is stable compared to 2019 standing at 25,46 million euros. 70% of the receipts are due to the declarations of 2019, the rest corresponding to sums collected in 2019 but due since 2017.

Income tax for 2019 brought in 7,9 million euros, it is up 7% with an additional 560 euros collected. 350 million euros due for the years 4 and 2018 were also collected.

Concerning the property tax revenue, it amounted in 2019 to 9,37 million euros (-1%). 3,24 million were also collected for the years 2017 and 2018.

Note that the elected officials meeting in the territorial council on December 20, renewed the same rates for this year 2020.
