Last Sunday, January 30, the restaurant "Le Mandarin" located in Port de Plaisance served as the setting for a hotly contested tournament during which the young player, Marianelly Zorilla distinguished herself brilliantly.
Among the youngsters, the surprising Marianelly Zorilla of the Kass chess club beat the boys, notably Lévy Truilhier, the winner of the Captain Frenchy tournament last December.
Among adults, the victory of Avalon Washington suffered no challenge. The surprise came from Pascal Djian, brilliant second, when he had not played for a long time. He has notably beat Yashwant Vaswani, yet in top form. Special mention for Amin Bouabdelli who obtained an encouraging 5 out of 7 just a stone's throw from 4th place.
